System Overview
The Digital Chime Power Amp’s primary purpose is to regulate the power supply equally between your doorbell’s chime and the Smart Doorbell. It helps power up the doorbell and makes sure that enough power is sent to your Smart Video Doorbell to function. The Digital Chime Power Amp is easy to install and connects to your internal digital chime. Make sure you only use Night Owl accessories for your Night Owl devices.

To Avoid the Headaches, This is recommended to you all Awesome Product . This Little device is needed if you Purchase the Night Owl Door Bells only if, Some may already be equipped with it and some may not be equipped. I purchased My Night Owl Doorbell installed it, Noticed my Doorbell kept on Ringing every other minute???( Was Skeptical wondering Why) . I did some Research From Night Owl Website and a You tube, Problem Solved. I didn't know the Digital Chime Power Amp A-WDB2-DCPA was Required. Just to Make sure, Before you install is to check if the Digital Chime Power Amp A-WDB2-DCPA is equipped with your Night Owl Doorbell.

Nice it worked as described
Needed for digital door bell the ringing part of system because it rang continuously.
Without this part.
Would have been nice to be in with doorbell cam box.
Most will need it.
Don’t forget to add to cart or will have to wait a few days to hear it work .
Would recommend as need add on .

It worked well.
I couldn't understand why my doorbell kept on ringing all the time, until I read some reviews to learn that I needed this. After I received it, I installed it, and BAM!. No more door bell ringing all the time. Thank goodness, not only was I getting annoyed, but my dogs were too. It has worked great since then.

Just worked!!
After installing a wired doorbell I had some what I believe to be interference. Tomorrow research tomorrow I realized what I needed was this device. I plugged it in and immediately had zero interference or doorbell noises even when I connected to the doorbell with phone or laptop.

Voltage regulator
Works great! I did have a problem when installing the actual doorbell camera - could never get customer service, neither online chat or by phone - tried for hours.

I have no existing door bell. How would this be wired Straight from a 110 0r 120 ac power source? If so that means I would need this correct?
Your home must have pre-existing wiring for a doorbell.

I have a 120 Volt doorbell chime and then a CAT6 cable to the doorbell button. When I hook it up it rings no stop. I bought the power amp module and trying to figure out how to wire it up. Please help.

How long does the battery last on the door bell

Do you need a power amp for each doorbell if yo have 2?
No, the Power Amp for digital chimes is not required for all installations. The Power Amp is used to help regulate digital chimes when the doorbell is pressed. Does this power kit provide additional power to the video door bell?
No. It regulates a digital chime. It is to be used by customers who have issues with the chime once the doorbell has been wired and setup.
