can you add two doorbell cameras onto the system?

Yes. You can add more than one doorbell to compatible systems, so long as you have an open wireless channel on that unit. This doorbell can be added to our Wireless NVR (WNVRC20) and our Hybrid DVR (HC20X) Series. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Does this need to be mounted higher than the existing door bell or is there a set height?

It is designed to replace your existing doorbell. However, it should be at least 4 ft. above the ground and facing out from the entryway to your front door. That way, the doorbell can better capture events occurring at your entryway. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

I am looking to buy your HC20X-81-41 hybrid system and additionally purchase the wireless doorbell (WDB20-B). First, are these compatible? Second, the doorbell description doesn't mention being view-able via CMS, only through a Smart Device.

Unless it is our Hybrid DVR system, no. However, the doorbell can be used as a standalone and connect directly to your Wi-Fi. So, you don't have to pair it to an existing system for use. If our current basic doorbell faces inward (from one side of door to the other side), how do we install the Smart Doorbell to look foward/away from the door?

That is a great question! This doorbell has a 140 Degree Field of View. So, even placed to the side and not facing forward, you should be able to detect motion. Additionally, future models of this doorbell will have an angled mount, so you can better position the viewing area.
