Rated 4 out of 5 by from Night Owl Doorbell Cam Have had 3 wired camera systems from Night Owl including a current one so normally my go to on this stuff. The doorbell cam that this is about has great picture and motion works well on AP. Had to use angled mount as bell is on side wall so do not get full view of approaching motion which is a negative. Function is great but the install was a bit frustrating because the security screws provided would not ever thread into mount so now it is mounted to angle mount with 2 sided industrial tape which defeats purpose and the only reason I don’t give 5 stars. Might have to get a new mount and try again. Overall it’s pretty good.

The audible ring heard outside is terrible...who the heck decided that noise was the right sound to play at the push of a doorbell button? Setup was typical of NightOwl stuff...not for everyone...I did learn something this time...while using your celphone to setup their devices TURN OFF your cellular data... I promise this will make your life easier...and make their setup process smoother. I have several of their stand alone cameras outside in FL weather and they continue to work well so I'm giving 4 stars for value as I expect the doorbell to do well in its very sheltered location. Lastly...The doorbell works fine and stands alone...no need to join a subscription service use the features. I like that. Clearly they intend to go that route but you dont have to do it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible! takes forever to get tech support, then u get on hold, then cut off. once you get thru they walk you thru stuff only to find out you need to return your product for a refurbished one. they didn't tell me i had to send it in 1st so i waited patiently before I called ( which took forever) then they told me to mail it in. by this time my 15 day cash return has expired! ive been dealing with this for over 3 months. now im stuck with this product and have to purchase from Costco and try theirs. the notifications on my cell phone was the issue and it never got resolved.

The reason for 4 stars is the flat mounting plate was omitted, so I made my owne. Picture res is just fine and the camera view is great,even at night. This doorbell camera is doing everything I expected it to do.

I have a THD50 wired security system. I can view cameras on my iphone Night Owl X app. Can I add this camera to my Night Owl X app to view on my iphone?

Hi. I wanted to ask you guys. I purchased a set of 8 cámaras in Brandsmart a year ago. A thunderstorm strokes them. I need to replace the monitor only which I guessing is the problem.. Could you tell me if you guys sale it separate?  Thank you, Zoila

I get notified there is movement at 1st it worked anywhere, now the app it says the doorbell is offline. I have tried restarting the phone, the app, using a wifi at my work, & normal cell towers. The only time it works is on same wifi as device, why??
