Rated 5 out of 5 by from Range I am pleasantly surprised with the range of the wireless cameras. I haven't mounted them permanently yet but soon...that will be the real test. The cameras will be 90 feet from the NVR. The claim is up to 300 feet...we'll see!!

So this system recordes? with motion, my mom need security.

By default, this system is set to record when motion is detected by one of the cameras. If a camera detects motion within the cameras field of view, a recording is generated and stored on your hard drive. If enabled, a push alert is sent to your Smart Device via our Free mobile App. The record settings for your device can be adjusted within the Main Menu, should you wish to alter the settings for one or more cameras. will the cameras record continuous 24 hours a day

Yes, you can switch the recording mode from motion to continuous, to record 24/7. Keep in mind, this will eat through your available hard drive space at a much quicker rate. Once the hard drive becomes full, it is set to auto-overwrite old footage. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

No. Our 1080p wireless cameras are AC Powered to avoid the inconvenience of frequent battery replacement. Each camera includes a camera power adapter and must be connected to a power source. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
