The 2 wireless cameras with this system are very convenient and easy to move around indoors. Plus they have audio. I have one of them on my dogs and can hear when they bark and can talk them down! The wired cameras took a little while to install as you have to install the cables, but well worth it. I haven't had any issue viewing my system from my phone using their app and love the alerts. While its still early on, i dont have any complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ed1027 from Nice System I have owned this system for about a month now and it has been working great. I purchased a set of H2THD 8.0 wireless cameras to go with this as well. Setup really went well with the wireless cameras, to my surprise. The wired cameras were plug and play, so very easy to do. Picture quality is pretty good on every camera also to my surprise. The only problem I have had, which was my fault, one of the wireless cameras fell off the self it was setting on and took a 5.5ft fall to the concrete( I was setting them up and did not have them fastened down yet) It did survive and still works but it does pick up movement now when nothing is in front of it. I'm very pleased with the way everything works.

I got them for an amazing deal because they have a new line of cameras out (which means these cameras are currently (sept. 2021) cheaper & way more advanced than even the basic entry level cameras in the "new" line. There's a couple things l could nit pick & say I'd prefer (like at night there's only 2 tiny red dots instead of a full circle of red dots alerting people that cameras are watching them) but for the price they deserve 5 stars.

Although I had to look around and find out what I needed just by process of elimination, and find them my self, but I am very pleased. Your sales or service department didn't seem to know how to help, but it's ok. I found them, got them, installed them, and I am very happy with them.

Are the cable connections from to the cameras weather proof? Or do I need to add some water tight seal to them?

They are weather-resistant. But if the cable is going to be overly exposed to the elements, you would need to provide additional shielding so they have a longer life span. Thank you!
