What is an example of a users name for the start up wizard? I keep getting prompt that my users name is wrong.

By default the username is admin and should be left as admin. There is always to be one(1) admin of the DVR. During the startup wizard you will create a password for admin. You can add additional users at a later time who will each get their own password and privileges. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Can I just delete one recording for one camera if so how

how can you adjust the sensitivity on the cameras?

Good Afternoon, To adjust the motion sensitivity of your camera, first login to your DVR. Next, pull up the Main Menu and click on the General icon. Next, click on the Alarm tab and you should see motion sensitivity on the screen. By default the motion sensitivity should be set to 4. If you want the sensor to be less sensitive to movement, lower the setting. To make it more sensitive, raise it. The lower the setting, the less likely a camera is to detect small objects.
