The low-light (L2) sensors produce detailed full-color video even as light fades away. Does this system require an ethernet connection to the router or can it be done via wifi? I only have wifi connection in my building. Can an audio device be used with this system? How long are the included cables.

Your Night Owl device only needs to be connected to a modem/router if you wish to view it remotely on a PC/MAC or a Smart Device. To remotely view your system, you must manually connect an Ethernet cable from your modem/router to the DVR/NVR. If you do not want remote viewing, you can connect the system to a TV or monitor to view live video feed and recordings. The DVR has 2 audio input ports so you can connect 2 of our indoor microphones to the existing cameras to begin detecting audio. See the link below. The camera cables are 60 ft. Are the cameras powered by the cable connected to the dvr or do you have to have a electricity run to the cameras for them to work?

The cameras will need to be connected to the provided camera power adapter, at the DVR level. One camera power adapter powers up to 4 cameras using the power splitter. The video portion of the BNC cable will connect to the DVR and the power portion will connect to the adapter. Thank you!
