(1) Internet and cell phone access requires a router and a broadband Internet connection with a minimum 2Mbps upload speed. If your DVR is not connected to the Internet you will not be able to remotely view your system on your Smart Device or PC/Mac®. May require a free firmware update.
(2) The DVR is currently accessible on iPhone®, iPad®, and Android™ running on 3G/4G Smart Devices. Push alerts currently available on Android™ and iOS®.
(3) Do not recommend using the cameras in temperatures below -14°F or above 122°F. These cameras are weather-resistant, not waterproof. Not for use in direct exposure to water.
(4) Night Owl does not charge any monthly fees to view or control your DVR over the Internet and/or Smart Device. Carrier fees and charges may apply.

I cannot see the HDA camera PTZ camera in NightOwl 1080N Lite DVR. Using a CCTV tester, the picture's properties = AHD1080P@25. I changed it to AHD1080P@30. Will the B-10LHDA-841-1080 system view AHD1080P@25 or 30

Someone else set up our Night Owl B-10LHDA-841-1080. I would like to get instructions on how to add the 2 cameras that were not installed. Also I need the instructions on how to access the DVR and use the mouse.

What does LITE mean in the description of this unit?

1080 L (Lite) is a hybrid resolution. It is not FULL 1080p. Rather it is somewhere between 720p and 1080p. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

60 ft of cable is not near enough . Can I order like 100ft or 200 ft of extra cable .

If you need to extend a camera further than 60 ft. from the DVR, yes we sell extension cables. Please note that we do not recommend going further than 180 ft. out using BNC coax cabling. If you need to go further than this, please purchase one of our video baluns and use a single Ethernet cable run. Additionally, if you go over 60 ft. out, please power that camera with its own camera power adapter to ensure you do not experience power issues when the cameras switch to night vision mode. Is the red HDD light supposed to stay on all the time?

The red HDD light indicates that the HDD is in use. If you have the DVR set to 24/7 record, it will remain on. If set to motion record, it will come on when a recording is occurring. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Good Afternoon, It just refers to the recording resolution capacity of the DVR. The 1080 Lite DVR it somewhere between 720p and full 1080p. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
