What is the noise level rating on this NVR? Do you have any that are rated at 30db or lower?

Our DVR/NVR units don't directly output audio. To add audio functionality, you will need either audio-enabled cameras or an External Surveillance Microphone and you control the volume from the output device (TV, stereo, etc.) Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

how to set night owl security camera dvr for longer event recording time.

Hello, Log into your DVR and navigate to Record > Settings > Record Schedule. In the Recording Schedule menu, each bar represents the record time for that day of the week with green representing normal recording and orange representing alarm (motion) recording. Above the schedule, select the channel you'd like to edit. There are two methods to set the recording schedule. The first method is to select the type of recording (No Record, Normal, or Alarm) and then click and drag within the recording table to set the dates and times to record. You can also click individual blocks of time to set the schedule. Alternatively, you can double-click on a day of the week and manually enter the start and end recording times (0-24 hours), as well as record type (normal or alarm). Here, you can also delete a saved time segment by checking the box to the left and selecting Delete. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
