hello, is there an update software for CAN-AHD10-841? I would like to know if this dvr has an alarm/record feature where a line or a polygon is drawn and any activity crossing the line or lines triggers recording and alarm. thank you for your help.

This DVR has a similar feature. You can set the motion detection area within each camera's field of view. If there is a certain area where you do not want motion detection, simply use this grid feature to disable motion for that area. Please view page 40 of your manual (link provided below). My router is a 4 port and all is being used and I need to put the system in another room from the router can I get a 50 foot either net cable and a switch so I can run to the other room and only plug 2 things in to that or what would be the best thing to

My system suddenly stopped working. The cameras dont appear in the tv and i dont know whats wrong with it. Is the best option to reset it? And how would i do that with this kind of system since i dont see a reset button? I just have the mouse and control
