Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bye, Bye ADT I dropped ADT because I felt "owned" by ADT, even though I was paying the bills. Needless to say, being stuck with a few thousand dollars in cameras made it difficult. However, when I saw the Night OWL system in Costco, I decided to give it a try. Viola! In less than a half an hour, I had all my cameras working on the Night Owl system, plug-n-play!

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY NIGHT OWL IS ON OR WORKING IS THERE A LIGHT ON IT SOMEWHERE

As long as the DVR is powered on using the DVR power adapter, it should be recording. You can connect it to a TV or monitor. If the cameras display, then it is working. Similarly, you can view the system on a PC/Mac or Smart Device. With this particular model. there is no power indicator light. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

My system stopped working, the owl come on when i reser but then is a black screen... the mouse is flickering as well please help!

I have has AHD7-DVR8 1tb for only over a year.. went to format hard drive because full. Said error.. noticed all cameras were flashing ..liked like lightning on tv.. unplugged dvr..now no signal.. only mouse light blinks

How do I reset my password on my ahd7-dvr8. I moved and had my night owl disconnected for 2 months. Now I cannot access dvr so I can install the night owl app on my android. Purchased night owl 2 yrs ago. No receipts available.
