Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ptz You talk a lot about Ptz but are not great on giving advise or giving equipment for Ptz, I love your cameras and the dr is pretty nice but the streaming is not great and I have 50mbps and still have bad streaming this is my 3rd system in 5 years and still no great improvements plz get stuff better so I continue to purchase stuff from night owl.

I presently have 3 of these systems running on the same Night Own 3.0 HD Mobile App. I need another 3 systems.. but i dont want to have to use another APP to manage it. I need 2x 8 Channels and 1x 16 channel units. What model number DVRs do i need ??

The only thing that appears on our monitor is the night owl logo. what might be the problem?

Every time the DVR reboots it says "New Firmware version available, do you want to update?". I run the up date and it says updating remotely but it never updates. It just says the same thing the next time it reboots.

Can the cameras keep recording even when the monitor is off?

Good afternoon. Yes, your system will record with the monitor shut off. Depending on your configuration, the recording is triggered by time and date (Normal Scheduling) or motion (Motion Scheduling). Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
