I can watch my kids go to school every morning by tapping into my Night Owl security system from work. The audio works great. I can hear birds chirping, traffic going by and my boys quarreling with each other while they get in the van! I bought one, then six months later bought another. They are just a little bit too expensive to use throughout the system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CAM-DM924A performs as expected, great pic It's been installed several months now and works as expected. Great pic day or night. Audio works good. Never a problem with Night Owl products. I run a 32 camera system at my home and am occasionally making upgrades. I started with four cameras and keep adding, always trying something different. Night owl works much better than Swan or Wincrap. DVR is simpler than some others I've set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I received mine in the mail yesterday. I hadn't paid attention to the fact it was a 900tvl camera and not a HD. I went to the computer first to make sure that is the camera I ordered and right away saw a post here that the camera would not work with a HD system and needed to be on an analog system. Turns out that guy was wrong. Camera works just fine on the HD system

Hi, I just connected this camera to my dvr on channel one but the audio is very bad, it sounds like interference and I have already checked both ends of the terminals and also the audio on the tv without any luck, please help.

I bought this camera some time aback and now that I'm installing it the replacement cable I bought(because the one it came with was too short) does not fit on the camera side. This is irritating since it was recommended for the camera.

After setting up the camera I have a black and white static picture. How can I get this in color and without static lines.

Good Afternoon. I apologize for the issue you have been having with your camera. there are many factors that might be causing these static pictures on the camera. Please ensure the following. go to " Main menu" > System Tab > ensure that you have " Video Format set to NTSC " if you have " PAL" please change this and saved your values. Your DM924A camera ? is it in what class { WDI, CIF4,CIF,2 or CIF} ? I am using 3-of these cameras with a Samsung C75300 DVR = The color view is ok but the night vision is not near as good = Maybe 25-30 feet and not clear ?

Good morning. DVRs are rated by their picture size, which is the CIF/D1/etc. label you are referring to, while cameras are rated by their capture resolution. The DM924A camera is a 900TVL camera, which equals an effective resolution of 1280 x 960 (1MP). As for the issues with the footage quality, we cannot guarantee third-party component compatibility. All Night Owl cameras are ONVIF-compliant but you will have to contact the other manufacturers regarding their products. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
