Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality - Easy to Use - Great Price After an increase in break-ins in my neighborhood, I decided to research and install a video surveillance system. After weeks of research, I choose the NVR10-441. I installed this product a few weeks ago. First, everything I needed was included in the box. I already had a computer monitor near the NVR and used the HDMI cord to connect. It was very convenient. Secondly, if you watch the tutorials BEFORE you begin your setup, and follow the instructions in the set up guide, set up is very simple. The product works as advertised, is a quality product, and the price is very reasonable. I recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great picture, playback is horrible Picture is very clear and only a couple seconds delay. However when attempting to playback video, it does not work. VERY frustrating since this is when we need to see if things are stolen, etc.

Got it working on all my Apple products without a hitch. The no monthly fees and 1080p video quality was what convinced me to buy this system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from In the dark Night vision has stopped working on all cameras. This is quite an inconvenience because night time is when you really need security cameras. I posted a review once and monitors removed it without giving me a reason. They didn't even apologize for the product failing. Not going to be using this brand again.

Are these cameras IEEE 802.3af compliant?

Does NVR10-441 support PTZ cams?

Good Afternoon, Unfortunately, we do not have any PTZ cameras that are compatible with this NVR. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will be launching a brand new 1080P PTZ in a few months time that will be compatible with our HDA and XHD Series DVRs. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

Can I adjust the sensitivity for each camera on my NVR 10–441?

Good Afternoon, Yes, you can adjust the sensitivity of each camera by accessing the main menu of the NVR and going to the Camera section. The sensitivity can be adjusted on a scale of 1 to 8. By default the motion sensitivity should be set to 4. In you want the sensor to be less sensitive to movement, lower the setting. To make it more sensitivity, raise it. The lower the setting, the less likely a camera is to detect small objects. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

Are there any options for adding a plug in wireless camera. Powered with electricity that then connects to the recorder wirelessly?

Dear floridaishot, The system comes with wired IP camera which uses ethernet cable that goes from the DVR to the camera in order for you to get a video footage. We do recommend that you use an ethernet cable to ensure that you are getting a great quality video from the IP cameras and Night Owl does not guarantee third-party device compatibility. How to push notifications on night owl to more than 1 phone

Is the system wireless? I don't want to run wires from cameras to the receiver. Is this a complete and easy system to install?

Since my WiFi router is not near my DVR, can I plug the DVR Ethernet connector into a WiFi range extender w/ Ethernet port (such as the NetGear WiFi Range Extender with Ethernet port WN3000RP) to link up to my WiFi for remote viewing on my android?
