Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality - Easy to Use - Great Price After an increase in break-ins in my neighborhood, I decided to research and install a video surveillance system. After weeks of research, I choose the NVR10-441. I installed this product a few weeks ago. First, everything I needed was included in the box. I already had a computer monitor near the NVR and used the HDMI cord to connect. It was very convenient. Secondly, if you watch the tutorials BEFORE you begin your setup, and follow the instructions in the set up guide, set up is very simple. The product works as advertised, is a quality product, and the price is very reasonable. I recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great picture, playback is horrible Picture is very clear and only a couple seconds delay. However when attempting to playback video, it does not work. VERY frustrating since this is when we need to see if things are stolen, etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from In the dark Night vision has stopped working on all cameras. This is quite an inconvenience because night time is when you really need security cameras. I posted a review once and monitors removed it without giving me a reason. They didn't even apologize for the product failing. Not going to be using this brand again.

Got it working on all my Apple products without a hitch. The no monthly fees and 1080p video quality was what convinced me to buy this system.

How far can these cable runs be, with respect to the amount of power being pushed out through the PoE NVR console? Also, what is the camera temperature rating - I'm concerned about the winter time temps.

If you go further than 180 ft., you will need to power that camera using the power pigtail coming from the camera. The temperature rating for the cameras is -14 to 140 Degrees F. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Where do I find the Product Downloads link so I can upgrade my firmware for the NVR10-441? I cannot find the tab anywhere and I have never upgraded the firmware since I purchased the cameras in 2015. The current version I have is V5.2.0-20150124

can i turn off the ir lights on the camera....i need to shoot through a window

You can put tape over the lights and install an infrared flood light outside. The human eye cannot see the flood light and the camera sees everything very well.

can these cameras be upgraded to maybe a 4mp

Can the NVR10-441 recorder be used in an unheated area? I see the temperature rating is from 14-140 degrees F. Is that only for the cameras or for the recorder as well?

The operating temperature range of the NVR is 40 degrees to 110 degree F. We do not recommend using the NVR outside of this temperature range. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Can I make a 120' Cat5 cable to use with the cameras. i guess what i reall want to know is how far can i run the camera away from the NVR? If I can only run 60' to the camera I will have to install 2 cameras

What's the distance from camera for motion sensor to activate camera when it's set to activate recording when triggered.

hello, The camera motion sensor will be activated within 30ft away from the camera. at that range recording will be triggered, this will also vary in the camera position, angle, and surrounding objects. Best Regards
