Video is clearer than the ones you see on the news after a store or bank gets robbed. Looks great on my 4k TV. Night vision looks better than expected.

I have installed 4 ip camera cables to an external poe switch and a single cable running from poe switch to nvr. However, only one camera can be seen on the screen. I can't see the other 3 ip cameras . Please help on how to solve this problem ?

Is it possible for me to have 32 IP camera cables running to an external POE switch and then a single Cat5e cable running from that switch to this NVR?

Where can we buy additional hard drive, is it factory installed only or I can installed it my self.

Unless NightOwl has changed their policy, you will void the warranty on your system if you open the case and upgrade the HDD... I had to wait a year for the warranty to expire before upgrading mine.

With the Two video outputs, HDMI and VGA, can both display different camera views? What we need to is be able to view two outdoor cameras on one monitor and the other cameras on a second monitor.

several questions. 1} does mounting bracket swivel to allow under, over, and side mounting. 2} are cameras plastic/ metal housed, 3} do cameras come in any other color than white, 4} does dvr box make any noise, do you sell brackets to secure it in place

1) The mounting bracket is fully adjustable to allow the desired recording angle. 2) These cameras have a metal housing. 3) Cameras are only available in white at this time. 4) The NVR runs smooth and quiet, unless the HDD has been damaged or the unit is overheating. We do not currently sells mounting hardware for the DVR or NVR. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

does this system run off wifi or do i have to wire it in

You will need to manually connect the NVR to your router or modem via Ethernet cable in order to remotely view the system on a smart device, PC or Mac. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Hi, Two questions: is the smart detect feature (motion + heat detection) a function of the camera or the NVR? If I want to add 4K camera to this system, will it take advantage of the smart detect feature?  Do you have any 4K cameras? thanks
