Will camera CM-PTHD30W-BU work as add on cameras to this system? You don't sell the cameras that come with the system. Right?

No, these cameras are not compatible with our HDA30 Series. We do not currently sell the HDA30 cameras as add-ons. The HDA30 DVR is compatible with our 1080p cameras though. Does this system record continues and motion/heat.  Or just motion/heat?

Good Afternoon, Great question. The system records both. It simply depends on what your DVR is set to. By default, the DVR is set to motion record. If you want to make any changes, please login to your DVR from a TV or monitor and proceed to the Record Menu. I see you have answered that the old analog cables will not work with new cameras(3mp) .  But will the new cables for the 3mp cams work for the older analog ones?   Thanks

Dear Sir, I bought the DVR system model# CL-HDA30-161022P back in August 2017. I installed the system and it is under operation however i am not able to access the cameras remotely and i think i did not configure the system with the right settings.

It has DVD burner or usb burner

It doesnt have either, but it does have a USB port. You can backup select recordings to a USB Flash Drive and then transfer them over. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
