Do the cameras zoom in?

These cameras do not have optical zoom, but can digitally zoom in through the DVR. The cameras are fixed lens, unlike Pan Tilt Zoom cameras. When you zoom in through the DVR you will experience some pixelation. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!

How many days of continuous recording on all 8 cameras can I expect on a 1tb drive

With all 8 cameras connected, you should be able to record approximately 130 hours on a 1 TB hard drive. By default, the system is set to record only when motion is detected which drastically increases the life of your hard drive. Thanks for choosing Night Owl!

I'm looking for a system that will monitor based on a schedule, and send me an alert when motion is detected only during a specific time range. Does your system allow for a feature like this?

I current have model CAM-930, replacing cameras cost just about the same as a new system.Can I connect the current wires from my old system into this one? .
