I purchased an additional camera: cam-HDA10W-DMA  1080P HD ANALOG SERIES for my f9-32 DVR.  the sound works great but I have no picture.  the cabling proves ok by using a different camera.  Have I purchased the wrong camera for my system.

I have seen some of your systems, where as you are watching recorded video, it jumps a few seconds, rather than simulating "live action" - is that adjustable, or does it depend on the model you purchase?

Thank you for your great question. Most likely you have a system that is set to record on motion and when there is not motion the system stop recording. You can change that option to the normal record and your system will record 24/7 without jumping a few seconds.Please refer to the record section in your manual for further information on setting the normal record. the bnc monitor out will it override the vga monitor out or can i use both one out as a live viewing monitor and the other for playback ect..

Good question. You can use both cables at one, but both the monitors will display the same image. There is no way to parse them. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

You can download our surveillance client to remotely view your system on your computer. In addition, you can remotely view your system with the Night Owl HD App on your Apple or Android smart device.

In the pictures of the DVR it only shows 24 camera ports on the back? Is this just an error with the picture or is this unit only 24 port and not 32?? Thanks
