Rated 5 out of 5 by from This camera does what it does and works great This camera does what it does and i like that knowing can see especially a burglar or who is not suppose to be there which gives a peace of mind and if some one like a burglar gets on the camera the cops can see them or a vehicle that is not to be there and can go look for them and arrest the burglar too

I have a Night Owl DVR16-HDA10L. Will my DVR 'find' this device once it's powered up and on the same wi-fi network as my DVR?

can this camera be added to a monitor with existing night owl  hard wired cameras ?

Unfortunately, this camera can only be viewed one of two ways: 1) by connecting (pairing) it to your existing Wireless NVR (WNVR201 Series) or 2) as a stand-alone through the Night Owl Connect app. s. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

Is there a time delay between motion activation and start of recording? And how long a video clip can I view without purchasing the monthly service? Thank you!

Good Afternoon, Thank you for the question. When purchasing a Night Owl product, there is no monthly fees to remotely view your system. Our apps are free to download and compatible with Apple and Android Smart Devices. As soon as motion is sensed, a recording will occur, so long as your system is set to motion record. We do have pre-record options, to ensure you capture the full event. For instance, when you access the recording in the playback menu you will be able to see what occurred just before and following the event. Thank you for choosing Night Owl and Have a Wonderful Day!

Is this add on camera compatible with the C-WNVR861P-B 8-channel NVR system sold at Costco? That Costco system includes 6 cameras. I would like to purchase 2 additional cameras for the 2 unused channels.

Hello Georgew, Thank you for the question. If you are pairing this camera to your existing Wireless NVR System, you scan the QR code on the actual NVR. I just purchased a Night Owl CAM-WNR2P-OU camera that I would like to use stand-alone, no NVR. When I plug in the power on the unit, it goes into paring mode, and stays there. Any suggestions as to how to get it to pair? The router is next to it.
