Product Reviews & Questions and Answers

CAB-24AWGG-100VP-A is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro install the best way I purchased at Costco and had it pro installed two months ago. I had a Lorex before with terrible resolution. This is very good resolution and more user friendly remotely.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Randomly turns off and comes right back on. Other than that it works fine. The sound is not that great if it's viewing a large group.

Can this cable be connected to an cable that's already installed to a camera.

Asked by: Mmccants
Yes. It comes with an extension adapter to allow for this connection. However, please make sure you power this camera with its own camera power adapter to avoid power issues when the cameras switch to night vision mode. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!

need more than 120 feet cable, approximately 300 ft

Asked by: trenton
Night Owl does not recommend pushing a single cameras more than 180 ft. from the DVR using BNC cabling. If you need a camera to be further out than this, please purchase one of our video baluns and utilize a single Ethernet cable run. Please find our video balun at the link below. Can I get 150 foot cable????

Asked by: Tjbass2655
Unfortunately, we do not have a 150ft of cable available for purchase. You can purchase 4x 60ft cables and use these SPF-12BNCF connectors which you can find by searching them on that would give you the length you are looking for. Thank you for choosing Night Owl SP.

I have your Costco c-881-pir1080 I want some longer cable runs. the 125ft cable says its recommended for cameras with 24 led's so not compatible with this cam w 12 led's? Is the 100ft cable compatible?

Asked by: Odub
Good Afternoon, Yes, that cable is compatible with the C-881-PIR1080, though it has audio. If you have a microphone that you are attaching to your cameras, you will be able to use the white audio portion of this cable. If you do not have audio, i would recommend the CAB-24AWGG-100VP. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.

can I get and package with 100 or 120 ft cables? If I run two 60 foot cables together will it cause a problem?

Asked by: Garyc
Good Afternoon, Night Owl recommends having a power adapter at cameras location using cable extensions over 60 ft in length. Best Regards.

Can the connections be exposed to the outside weather? I have to run the cables outside of my house.

Asked by: ratzman
Good morning. If the video/power connections must be outside, Night Owl strongly recommends routing the cable through a conduit (PVC pipe works well) and then wrapping the connections with electrical tape after verifying functionality to protect from moisture damage. Thanks for choosing Night Owl.
